PACE Spotlight: Dr. Alan McGee

Dr. Alan W. McGee, M.D., is a native of Fort Wayne who attended North Side High School and graduated as the Salutatorian in 1975.  He later went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. McGee joined Ortho NorthEast (“ONE”) in 1990 as a spine surgeon.

Dr. McGee is board certified by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, where he retains an active membership. Other memberships afforded Dr. McGee are the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society, the Wright State African American Medical Scholarship Program, the Martin Luther King Jr. Club, the North American Spine Society, the African American Healthcare Alliance and the Mid-America Orthopaedic Association.

PACE Spotlight: April Stribling

April Stribling is a self-taught baker and owner of April Michelle Sweets, a custom dessert and cheesecake company in Atlanta, Georgia.  She is a Fort Wayne native and 2004 graduate from Harding High school.  April continued her education at Clark Atlanta University, where she received her B.A. in Business Administration.  After graduation she moved forward with her career in sales and marketing eventually leading to the launch of her bakery business in 2015. PACE Spotlight: Dr. Jabrea Bennett, DMD

Congratulations to Dr. Jabrea Bennett, DMD for being acknowledged as our first PACE spotlight recipient. Dr. Bennett is a 2003 honors graduate from Snider High school.  She received her bachelor's degree from Spelman College and matriculated to the University of Louisville where she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine.  Dr.Bennett currently practices in Indianapolis where she serves the community as a volunteer.
